FORTE Bike Fitting
Longmont, Colorado
Custom bike fitting for riders of all abilities.

About
Michael is a physical therapist at Red Hammer Rehab in Louisville, Colorado. He is also a certified bike fitter, lead running coach for Revolution Running, and faculty member with the Institute of Clinical Excellence. His passion is to help people continue to do the activities they love, meet their fitness goals, and to not just live, but thrive. Whether he is doing a bike fitting, treating a patient, teaching, or coaching runners, he takes a “whole-human” approach, taking into account stressors in life, exercise patterns, diet, and sleep and the roles these play in a person’s ability to thrive. Similar to his approach as a PT, his bike fitting philosophy blends the science behind the suggested positioning and the art of tailoring that to each individual and their bike. Michael believes in the value of educating clients throughout the fitting process so that they can be empowered to pursue their riding and life goals with confidence.
In his spare time, you can find Michael hanging out with his family and enjoying life outdoors, where he strives to practice what he preaches.
Why is bike fitting important?

Benefits of Bike Fitting
- Injury prevention – When you’re in the right position, you are better prepared to tolerate the forces, points of contact, and repetitive motion of cycling.
- Comfort – A good fit means your riding is more enjoyable, which hopefully leads to more time on the bike.
- Performance – Getting you in the right position allows you to create more power, more efficiently.
- Safety – When you’re comfortable on your bike and your components are dialed in, you’re better able to focus on your surroundings and react quickly to potential dangers.
- Value – No matter what kind of bike you have – whether it’s entry level or has the most advanced specs – a proper fit ensures you get the most out of your investment.
